About us

It was from our customers’ world that the ideas behind Accel came into being, it was from the car industry that we acquired our vision of the ideal component supplier.

In 1987 Accel was started as a marketing and technical support company for Japanese and Italian component manufacturers.

In 1994 our Lithuanian production plant, UAB Accel Elektronika, was established in co-operation with UAB Terra, a Lithuanian electronics company.

This gave new direction to our operations. Access to unique R&D capabilities and our own tailor-made, cost-effective production plant made it possible for us to realize our own product ideas in a very competitive way.

Our mix of experience from the car industry, electronics technology from the aerospace field and the general technical skills of our exceptionally well-educated production team has proven successful. Thanks to strict specialization in Car and electro-mechanics Electronics, we can also offer reliable resources through a very smooth-running, flexible organization of around 300 employees.
